The Riverbend Way

Relationships make the difference.

Laser therapy

Stem cells

Laser therapy is an exciting new advance in veterinary medicine. With it, we are able to work at the cellular level, reduce inflammation, and stimulate the body’s natural healing processes. This can be incredibly helpful in treating injuries, post-surgical care, and with chronic conditions that cause inflammation. It is an important tactic in pain management.

Vet Performing ultrasound

Ultrasound is a powerful diagnostic tool. With it, we are able to look inside your pet’s vital organs in order to pinpoint or rule out any problems. It is totally safe, painless, and incredibly helpful in forming the most effective treatment plan possible for your dog or cat.

Dental Health

Shetland Sheepdog

Dental health is critical for a pet’s pain management and lifespan. By the age of three, most dogs and cats show signs of periodontal disease. This progressive illness erodes the supporting structures around your pet’s teeth, causing pain and eventual tooth loss. Troublingly, bacteria begins to multiply and can spread to your pet’s vital organs, causing secondary illnesses such as kidney and heart disease. But fear not – periodontal disease is no match for our team!

Wellness Exams

The saying goes “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” It is critical to  have a routine preventative health care schedule. This allows our team to establish a health and behavioral baseline, which will aid us in quickly spotting if/when something deviates. This way, we can treat potential problems earlier on, when they are less complicated (and expensive!) to handle. Pets with routine preventative exams live longer and happier lives!

Adult female domestic cat Xray

Every single digital xray that we perform is read by a board-certified radiologist. In order to become board certified in radiology, a veterinarian must undergo multiple years of additional training and testing. The only way to become certified is to prove yourself as the best of the best. This is why there are so few board certified radiologists. And we believe your pet deserves access to one of the few.
